Full-Time Retail Key Holder/Stylist

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-driven and sales-focused Associate to join our new luxury dog boutique! Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, we are excited to bring our love and appreciation for pups to the glitz & glam of The Golden Triangle. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a lavish and welcoming shopping experience for our customers and their canine companions. Your duties will include greeting all clients, providing information on products, collecting payments, stocking shelves, and helping to meet the store's daily sales targets. The qualified candidate will provide a high degree of professionalism that supports a store-culture based on satisfactory relationships and continuous improvement. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about retail, has great communication skills, and loves the world of dogs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Passion for selling, clientelling, and maintaining critical customer relationships
• Must learn and retain information about all merchandise, policies and procedures.
• Operates all technological equipment, POS & back-office softwares, and additional devices in an expert fashion
• Maintains a pristine, well-organized, and safe working environment
• Accurately and quickly handles cash, credit/debit, apple pay, and “pay later” payment options
• Performs all sales duties along with maintaining inventory, shipment check-in’s, stocking, and shipping.
• Communicates accurately & effectively to both customers and co-workers
• Performs other duties as needed such as but not limited to:

-Partakes in Society Hounds’ community events

- Helps with merchandising physical retail store as needed

- Training onboarding associates about products, procedures, and policies of store

- Cleaning duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required (or in process)
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Shopify
• Outstanding phone and customer service skills
• Loves being a part of a successful team & has a desire for luxury retail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, brainstorm alternative solutions, and troubleshoot basic issues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time during shift hours
• Reliable transportation
• Prompt, responsible, and professional
• Loves dogs
• Able to lift 30+ pounds
• Minimum 2-year retail experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years customer service experience
• Must be able to work both weekdays and weekends (willing to work flexible hours)

—Shift Hours will range from: Sunday-Saturday 9:30am-7:30pm

—Base pay between $18-$22/hour.

—Job Type: Full-time 32-40 hours/week
